Born and grew up in Milwaukee, I studied physics at Case Western Reserve University and subsequently at University of Florida. I've worked doing research into quantum gravity and field theory at Virginia Tech and University of Alabama before taking up computer programming.
I'm now living in Villa Park, Illinois with my lovely and talented wife, Nayana Patel Kleppe, and my son, Ted. Until recently being laid off, I worked as a web programmer for a downtown Chicago company which should probably remain nameless here. I previously served as chair of the York Township Democratic Organization, and have been/am involved in far too many political campaigns to mention here.
